"I had a deeply upsetting experience at Arya Bhavan Wembley that I feel compelled to share. As a pure vegetarian, I trust restaurants like this to maintain high ethical and hygiene standards. However, I found a live snail in my Pulao rice.
While finding a pest in food is bad enough, the way the staff handled it was utterly unprofessional. After discovering the snail, I tried to alert the team, but I was ignored by three different staff members who saw the issue and simply walked away or failed to acknowledge the gravity of the situation. I had to wait a significant amount of time before a manager finally appeared to address the matter.
For a restaurant that prides itself on being 'pure veg,' showing such a lack of urgency regarding a living creature in a customer's meal is a massive breach of trust. It suggests a total lack of quality control in the kitchen and a disregard for customer concerns in the dining room.
I will not be returning, and I strongly advise others to check their plates carefully."

Came all the way from Peterborough to try their food, and they didn’t disappoint us at all. We ordered the South Indian Thali, mini idli, masala dosa, mixed uttappam, and a filter coffee — and all of it together cost just £38. The staff were incredibly friendly, the ambience was pleasant, and the hygiene standards were excellent. Truly worth the trip.

The service was very good, fast and very polite. Beautiful ambience. The food was good and tasty. I ordered ghee roast and it was very good - very crispy dosa, chutneys were fantastic, potato sabji was good although could have been little better taste wise. The special falooda was very delicious and very well presented (long falooda spoon was missing, they gave normal wooden spoon). Overall very good experience!

    Poorly packed and uncooked Chapati

I ordered Chapati one set and Idly two sets in this Arya Bhavan at 21.00 and got the food delivered at 21.40. Total waste of money and couldn't eat the food at all. Firstly both the Chapati s were not cooked properly, was almost raw. All the chutneys were not closed properly and one of chutneys completely opened and spilled everywhere.
I mean what kind of restaurant it is. Very poorly managed. They way the packed all the foods and sending uncooked food says that they rushed to cook and pack the food.
I strongly do not recommend this restaurant.
I need to raise official complaint on this

⭐ Real Experience – Honest Review bcoz I never come again.

I ordered a Masala Dosa yesterday in Wembley. I had asked for extra sambar, but they didn’t provide it — even though the restaurant wasn’t busy at all.

It was my first visit, and I even added invoice with photo to show that this is a genuine review. The problem isn’t just the missing sambar — the masala dosa had four big potato chunks, two of which I’ve attached in the photos.

When I informed the manager, he simply said “it happens,” and the girl standing there may be her name is in invoice, didn’t respond properly either.

It clearly shows that customer value and service quality are missing here. Honestly, it’s good that Saravana Bhavan is opening soon in this area — I used to eat at their Rayners Lane branch, where they offer unlimited chutney and sambar with excellent service.
Suggestion: better to replace that order or money back. Very bad.

I ate 2 plates of kerela paratha served with 2 curries and 1 plate of vada served with sambar and chutney also coke zero and chai. The total cost of it came to 23 pounds which to me is not to bad. The restaurant is clean and modern. The service was also impeccable and the lady who served me was kind and hospitable. Please do definately give this place a try if your craving authentic south Indian vegetarian food.

Great Atmosphere, But The Signature Falooda and Inconsistent Service Need Major Improvement recently visited Arya Bhavan based on its fantastic atmosphere and reputation, but unfortunately, the experience- specifically the dessert and the service execution-fell short of expectations.

Atmosphere (5/5 Stars) The restaurant's ambiance is truly its strongest asset. The interior is modern, bright, and very inviting. The seating is comfortable, and the decor, including the stylish lighting fixtures, gives it a premium feel. It's an excellent space for relaxed meal, and ful credit goes to the management for creating such a pleasant dining environment.

Service (2/5 Stars) This was the most problematic part of our visit. While the staff was generally polite, the operational execution was poor and exhibited noticeable inconsistencies: 1. Order Confusion & Delays: After placing our order at the table, a different server approached us about 10 minutes later asking if we had already ordered. This suggests that the initial order was either not promptly entered or was completely lost in the system, forcing us to wait even longer. We waited an unacceptable 25 minutes in total just for a simple dessert, the Special Falooda. The initial hustle to take the order did not match the effort to deliver it quickly. 2. Inconsistent Prioritization: While we were waiting, we observed a lady (who appeared to be part of the management, working on reports on a laptop in a corner) leave her duties to serve a particular table twice. With multiple servers and a floor manager present, seeing a manager-level person prioritize a single table over ensuring all other customers' long-delayed orders (like ours) were being processed quickly gave a distinct feeling of favoritism or misplaced priorities, which did not feel good. The combined issues of order loss/delay and the perceived inconsistent attention significantly detracted from the experience.

Food- The Special Falooda (2s Stars) This is where the product itself was most disappointing. We specifically chose the costliest falooda on the menu, the "Special Falooda" (priced at £7.95), expecting a truly premium and substantial dessert worthy of the price. 1. Cheap Presentation: The dessert was served in a cheap-feeling plastic cuplglass, which was surprising and frankly disappointing given the premium ambiance of the restaurant and the price of the item.It felt likea low-cost takeaway item rather than a premium, sit-down dining experience. 2. False Filling: The cup seemed strategically packed tO create the illusion of fullness. It was dominated by large pieces of cut fruit and minimal ice cream at the top, which takes up a lot of space. There was a significant lack of the core components of a great faloodathe actual milk, sabja (basil seeds), and sevai (vermicelli)-needed to deliver the rich, traditional flavor. It felt like a "false hope" dessert, more focused on height and volume than quality and substance. The overall result was an item that did not justify the high price point or the "Special" designation on the menu.

Overall (2/5 Stars) While the atmosphere is top-notch, the combination of extremely slow/confused service, perceived inconsistent customer prioritization, and the poor value of the signature dessert significantly brought down the final score. If Arya Bhavan could improve their operational efficiency and ensure their higher-priced menu items are served with premium presentation and genuine substance, the overall dining experience would truly match the excellent atmosphere. hope this constructive feedback helps the team make necessary adjustments.

    Vegetarian Feast in Wembley
Service: we had some of the best people for our table, they helped at their best when needed. They often keep checking for help if we need any.
Plance was packed with people for lunch, food did not take longer to arrive.
Menu: we were here for lunch and breakfast. Lunch time was full house but we were seated with no wait, it was constant flow of people.
Breakfast at 10am on Sunday was quiet, they served authentic food here. All are fresh and tasty. Food was 10 out of 10.
Their breakfast combo was a saver but not available during the weekend.
Ambience: newly fitted place, the space was well utilised and modern looking.
They have a sweet counter for snacks to take home.
They do have home delivery service through Deliveroo I believe.

Extremely Disappointed with Aryan Bhavans North Indian Thali

I ordered 2 North Indian Thalis from Aryan Bhagan via Uber Eats, and the experience was terrible. Not only was the order incomplete, but what we did receive was disgusting and inedible.
    • The chapatis were half-cooked, rubbery, and tasted stale (attached photo as proof).
    • The dal or sabzi and soup looked like watery leftovers with zero taste or freshness
    • To top it off, they told us to order something else worth £16 just to get the Thali delivered. And for what? This pathetic excuse for a meal? So overall spents £47 for 2 Thalis and mango lassi but the taste was so bad and the lassi was like salty buttermilk

This was supposed to be a North Indian Thali, but it felt more like a joke. If you care about food quality or value for money, avoid this place at all costs.

Never ordering again. Total waste of money and time.

Excellent vegetarian place. Had chana bhatura, baby corn manchurian.. both were very good. Service was quick. Staff was polite and gave additional curry on request. Filter coffee was aromatic and tasted very authentic.

We (family of 3) went to arya bhavan in Wembley. We were attended by Niyati who provided an excellent service and dining experience. The food was cooked just right, not too spicy or too tangy. We ordered Veg biriani (spl), parotta and chappathi plus other sundries. Everything tasted nice. We even had complimentary flavoured organic water provided by Niyati. I highly recommend this place and thankyou Niyati for your kind service.

I had to bring myself back here after my first visit within a week! The quick service by their staffs and the power packed flavours in each dish and to sum it up the must masala tea to digest the food. The portions are decent and so many options to choose from.

Was craving For some proper Dosa the other day drove to wembley looking for Saravanna BHavan and much to our surprise the place had changed to Aarya bhavan and we were confused. They had changed hands. However, they had done up the restaurant and it was nice looking and well lit up as well. The food was spot on and it didnt seem much different from saravanna bhavan it actually had better options on the menu. Also, i must say that the service was much better as well. Usually with the previous place I always felt like they just wanted us to eat and leave sooner but this new place staff treated us with care and tend to our needs exceedingly. I like the new place more
